experience at undergraduate and graduate
students of electrical engineering including
seminars, tutorials and practical sessions
as well as specialized industrial short
courses. Subject areas include:
 |
Electric Power Engineering. Several
specializations in power system;
analysis, design, operation and
control. Design, operation and
maintenance of AC y DC transmission
system. |
 |
High Voltage Engineering.
Insulation, overvoltage:
calculation, coordination and
protection. Grounding,
|
 |
Renewable Energy and Distributed
Generation. Modelling and
simulation. Technical and economic
studies to evaluate the impact of
integration in power system.
|
A
lot of courses and teaching materials was
developed (all material in Spanish, some of
these materials are at:
http://www.fglongatt.org.ve/CursosPreyPostgrado.html).
Furthermore, course and program material
have been developed, including the program
of Distributed generation for the
Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas,
Venezuela (http://www.fglongatt.org.ve/Archivos/SistGD.html).
A
large number of courses in the area of
electrical engineering have been coordinated
and supervised: Power systems, electrical
machineries, electrical circuits,
transmission lines, etc. These activities
include: assessment, recruitment and
supervision of lecturers. |
